Last year Coeo signed and became a prominent partner of the Tech Talent Charter (TTC) membership group, and we are proud to join this movement.
The TTC was founded in 2017, by organisations across the recruitment, tech and social enterprise fields and is supported by the UK government’s Digital Strategy. The TTC is run as an industry collective, it’s only through working together and joining forces, can any real meaningful change happen.
The TTC is a commitment by over 720 UK tech organisations to a set of responsibilities that aim to deliver greater inclusion and diversity in the UK tech workforce. In a recent survey with data collected by 170 Signatory organisations, 81% listed gender diversity and 68% listed ethnic diversity as a high priority. Signatories of the TTC, on average, have, and benefit from, a higher representation of female and ethnic minority talent due to their collective action.
Coeo and the TCC have a joint mission: to increase inclusion and diversity in the UK’s tech industry.
Signing the TCC is another step on our People-First journey, and this comes as part of our recently re-launched Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) group; a working group across the business that actively brings EDIB to the forefront of everyday working operations through celebrations and learning interventions across the year.
We aim to ensure that everyone has access to equitable opportunities, that each employee feels valued and has a sense of belonging. Our efforts have been well received internally, but also acknowledged externally, with multiple awards from 2022 Best Workplaces™ in Tech, UK’s Best Places™ for Wellbeing 2022 and UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2022 as well as being Great Place To Work Certified 2023.
Please join us in celebrating Coeo’s commitment to be a valued member of the Tech Talent Charter. You can check TTC’s website at https://techtalentcharter.co.uk/.
